People are raving about Project Audion's online recreations!
Here are some of the comments we've received...
Honestly this hit me bigger than the original. Brilliant job. Bravo
An AMAZING performance. I have the original broadcast and you did a great job recreating this play. So glad to know that we are not the only ones trying to keep the art of radio theater alive and WITHOUT the use of A.I. voices!
The level of acting here is incredible. I did not know there were people alive today capable of doing this. I love this sound guy. This is at the same level of production quality as the actual show. I can’t believe this.
This was Great as always with a lot of details when it came to creating atmosphere, mood, and vibes
Excellent audio creation using the technology of today to recreate the memories of yesterday.
That narrator and whole cast pass the vibe check! I didn’t grow up in this time but I love radio stories!
LOVED the performance… everyone should watch -- CONGRATS To all!
BRAVO! Enjoyed it very much indeed. Beautifully done … and delightfully spooky! Wonderful reveal at the start … the graphics and overall presentation were very nice too. 80 years is quite a while, but I’m glad that Project Audion 'took the time' … Exactly the kind of escape I crave these days.
Atmospheric and fun—loved seeing the sound effects done the old way rather than the recorded sound effects some others use.
….Thank you, now I’ve found a great source for old radio drama re-creations.
I think you do the best job of all of the old-time radio recreation groups I've seen on YouTube...
Excellent work! talented cast under a great direction and a very well done production! Love the idea of using the video conference, so we have the best from the past and the present. Keep it going!
Terrific show! All you actors are truly dedicated and amazing. It looked like you were having lots of fun, too. Congratulations
SO grateful to Project Audion for reproducing these shows! That so many scripts/shows were destroyed is a crushing loss of national treasure. More than any other medium, radio is amazing window into our cultural past where daily life goes on exactly as before for anyone who chooses to listen.
I loved the recreation and the incredible attention to all the tiny details (not to mention the marvelous visual accompaniment too). The cast was marvelous…and the production professional and tight…My big congrats, (William N.) Robson would have approved.
My first encounter with a Project Audion production…. BRAVO! I'm a long-time fan of OTR; and am still on a 55+ year fascination with home broadcast radio technology as a collector, conservator and amateur historian of the subject…. The technological change is relentless and I congratulate you all for trying new ways to keep the magic of radio performance alive.
Phenomenal; kudos to all! ✨✨
What a show! Loved every minute of it
Fantastic job on all fronts: writing, production and acting. Absolutely loved the show. Congratulations to all.
Great production and performances by all. I’ve been dipping in and out of the Generic Radio script library for a few years and only just noticed Project Audion tonight. These deserve far more views.
BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🍾🎉🎊🎆 I am a 46 YEAR OLD MAN who was born about 80 Years too late! I am an ABSOLUTE OLD SOUL! I was probably the only 6 Year Old kid in the 80's who would rather watch The Marx Brothers, or Listen to Recordings of Henry Aldrich, & Archie Andrews than watch He-Man! I THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS PROJECT, I have been talking about doing this same thing for about 3 Years now! I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to hear You all do some Henry Aldrich, Archie Andrews, Edgar Bergen/Charlie McCarthy, OR some more Fibber McGee, & Molly! THANK YOU AGAIN for this ABSOLUTE GEM!!!! VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!! 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
This is not easy, and can often come off as a heavy handed, poor pastiche of golden age radio. For this reason I personally tend to avoid recreations. To my delight, this was really well done. I will look forward to listening to the rest from earlier seasons. Thanks for doing such a good job on an otherwise lost broadcast.
Great voice acting
Great job everyone, that was very enjoyable!
This group of actors is talented. I know Leslie Charteris would be pleased today, fans of his writing are still being heard in today’s media.
Loved this show! Great cast! Wonderful job ! Merry Christmas!
So wonderful; love your productions! Happy Holidays, Project Audion!
Thank you for the wonderful teamwork to recreate classic program. I enjoyed it very much.
Great job, everyone!! Awesome performances all around 💜
How wonderful! U were all great!! As a big fan of the original I think this was right on the money. I particularly liked the attention 2 detail such as the way Rochester used 2 say goodbye in that unusual lilting way. Just brilliant!!
This is amazing. Many thanks!
Great work! ~ Learned a bunch & very entertaining to boot. 🙂
BRAVO! Kept me on the edge of my seat…and love those visual backdrops.
Love being able to watch the Foley artist at work.
Nice script! And a wonderful production, as usual! You continue to keep to a very high standard.
It was a treat watching and listening to the program…What a video extravaganza you put together with the Zoom performances (I especially liked that crossing train at the bottom of the frame: made me chuckle every time.
I liked your introduction to the show, your casual, warm welcome in front of and on a train. Had a kind of Walt Disney feel to it. Or a PBS type of approach. Or even a news spot. You really set the scene well.
You all did a fantastic job producing Project Audion! Interesting way to show the actors complete with an "On the Air" sign lit up. The sound was handled expertly and the true sound of OTR was captured.
Great job on the Fibber & Molly Show. Graphics are sensational. The broadcast itself was smooth and the laugh track and sound expertly handled. You really are a master at this stuff.
This is the closest thing to a professional performance short of an actual exchange of $$! You are a genius and the gold standard for other OTR recreators to emulate. A fine production, indeed!
How marvelous this all was! Bravo! Bravo! Worth many listens and viewings!
I loved the recreation and the incredible attention to all the tiny details (not to mention the marvelous visual accompaniment too). The cast was marvelous (the narrator was splendid), and the production professional and tight. My big congrats.
